ABOUT US:
The Wisconsin Yachting Association (WYA) is a regional organization supported by inland lakes sailing clubs located in southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Each year the WYA sponsors a championship regatta for Class C and Class X scows and has been doing so since 1938. Our events, predominately governed by US Sailing's and the Inland Lakes Yachting Association's racing rules, attract as many as 70 teams vying for the WYA's historic hardware.
Our organization strives to provide high quality sailing events for C Scows and X Scows that are affordable and fun for the competitors. Our race committees, meal providers, launching staff, and others who help out are all volunteers who love the sport of sailing and carry on the tradition of hospitality at our venues. We invite you to come out this summer to sail with us and see what the WYA is all about.
